This Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38 Solution is a ready-made liquid form of a well-known collagen-focused lipopeptide. It is water soluble, colorless to pale beige and slightly viscous, and it lets you work with Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38 without weighing tiny amounts of powder.
What Is Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38 Solution?
Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38 is a palmitoylated peptide. In this product it is carried with hydroxypropyl cyclodextrin, glycerin and trehalose, and preserved with caprylyl glycol and ethylhexylglycerin. The supplier describes it as an anti-wrinkle peptide that promotes the synthesis of collagen, fibronectin, laminin and hyaluronic acid, helping to smooth lines and moisturize the skin. If you prefer dry material, compare it with our Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38 peptide powder.
Key Properties
Matrix-focused positioning
The peptide is chosen for products about the look of wrinkles, firmness and smoothness, with a focus on the skin matrix components listed by the supplier.
Convenient liquid carrier
Cyclodextrin and trehalose make up the carrier, so the peptide arrives dissolved and ready to weigh.
Wide use range
The supplier rate runs from 0.5 to 10%, so it suits both light daily lotions and concentrated serums.
Where It Is Used
Use it in face serums, firming creams, eye creams, neck and décolleté products and gel-creams. It is a classic partner for our Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 solution in collagen-focused blends, and it pairs well with hyaluronic acid boosters. Other options for the same purpose are gathered in our peptides category.
How to Use
Add during cool-down after the emulsion has formed, or to the water phase once the temperature is 40°C or lower. Recommended usage rate: 0.5 to 10%. The material is water soluble and insoluble in oil, so do not add it to the oil phase.
Compatibility and Technical Notes
Works in water gels, serums and oil-in-water emulsions. Because it is slightly viscous, weigh it directly into the batch rather than pouring from a measuring cylinder. Do not apply the raw material directly to skin; always dilute it in a finished product.
