Eucalyptus Globulus Organic Hydrosol is a colorless aromatic water with a fresh, invigorating eucalyptus scent, made in the USA. Brands use it in tonics, lotions, creams, shampoos, hair tonics and shower gels, in pure form or as cosmetic ice. Four bottle sizes are available: 4 oz, 8 oz, 16 oz and 32 oz.
What Eucalyptus Hydrosol Is
According to the current product text, the hydrosol is obtained by steam distillation of eucalyptus leaves. It is an aqueous material, so its aroma is far gentler than eucalyptus essential oil and it cannot be swapped for the oil at the same percentage. The INCI on the card is Eucalyptus Globulus.
Properties
Invigorating scent
The cool, green aroma creates a refreshing experience in face mists, body sprays and hair products.
Cleansing feel
The existing description refers to natural cleansing properties that help the skin look clearer and fresher, which suits tonics and after-shave style lotions.
Water-based convenience
It mixes freely with water and other water-soluble ingredients; the listed pH range is 3 to 9.
Applications
Face: toners, mists and the water phase of lotions and creams. Hair: shampoos, hair tonics and refreshing hair mists. Body: shower gels and cooling sprays. For blended aromas, combine it with Lemongrass Hydrosol Organic or Mandarin Hydrosol Organic, and see the complete hydrosols category for more options.
How to Use
Replace some of the distilled water in the water phase with the hydrosol, or use it neat. A hydrosol does not make a product self-preserving, so stored products need a checked preservation system and microbiological testing. Avoid contact with the eyes. For more detail, read our guide Hydrolat Toner: How to Use Hydrosols in Skincare.
Picking a bottle size
Small 4 oz and 8 oz bottles are handy for trying the aroma in a toner or hair mist. When the hydrosol becomes the main liquid in a product line, the 16 oz and 32 oz bottles keep you stocked between orders. Choose your size and add Eucalyptus Globulus Organic Hydrosol to your cart today.
Cosmetic ice and pure use
The card lists both options. Frozen in a clean ice-cube tray, the hydrosol becomes cosmetic ice; used straight from a spray bottle, it works as a quick mist during the day. In both cases, avoid the eye area.
Compatibility
Eucalyptus hydrosol works with humectants, gels and water-soluble botanical powders such as Aloe Vera Extract Powder. Oils and essential oils need a solubilizer or emulsifier to blend in.
